Work-Based-Learning Workshop

Overview

Work-based-learning offers an approach that brings learning into the work environment with clear benefits and value for employers and learners alike.

This workshop will explore work-based-learning, its relevance to contemporary procurement workplace settings and how it can create value in the workplace. Through a live case-study presentation, key players in the work-based-learning process (employer, participant, instructor) will be identified. Through an investigative process delegates will have the opportunity to build their own understandings of the role played by each as well as their expectations and limitations within the process. In the afternoon session delegates will be supported in exploring how work-based-learning approaches can effectively be applied to their own context and evaluating factors necessary to ensure maximum benefit and value can be achieved for all involved.
